Boy Scout Troop 48

As mentioned in the previous post an “Eagle Court of Honor” was held to award the Rank of Eagle to Troop 48’s Michael Bierhup on Saturday February 21st, 2009.  In attendance to make special presentations to Michael were Ohio Representative Clyde Evans and a representative from the office of US Congressman Zack Space as part of the “Eagle Court of Honor”.  Follow this link to view pictures of this very special event.

Henry and Kay Bierhup along with the Scouts, Leaders and Members of the Committee of Boy Scout Troop 48 are pleased to announce that: Having completed the requirements for, and having been examined by an Eagle Board  of Review.

Was found worthy of Scouting’s highest rank of “Eagle Scout”.

In honor of this achievement, an Eagle Scout Court of Honor followed by a reception has been scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday February 21, 2009, at the Christ United Methodist Church located at 150 Portsmouth St. Jackson, Ohio. Please join us to honor Michael for this accomplishment.

Troop 48 will observe Scout Sunday on February the 15th. We will be attending morning services at the Christ United Methodist Church which is our sponsor and where we meet. Services are at 9:00 am in the Family Life Center and at 11:00 am in the church sanctuary. Scouts should arrive in complete Class A uniform 30 minutes prior to the service that they are attending. We will have a part in each service so “Be Prepared” to do your part.
