Communications Merit Badge

I am Joshua and have been going to Chief Logan for four years and have been in Scouts for nine years. I have earned most of my merit badges here. Currently I am a Star scout and all I need for Life scout is a board of review. I am grateful for all the peaple who have kept this camp running through the years. Without everyone working here I would have never come this far in scouting. I have enjoyed all the years I have come here and hope to come again.

Howdy folks, I am Jason. This year at camp I am having a great time. I am working on many merit badges. It’s really really hot, and HUMID. It is awesome seeing a lot of friends and staff members that I haven’t seen in a really long time. I am Ben and i have been going to Chief Logan Reservation for 5 years as a boy scout and 10 as a scout all together. Coming here every year has been a pleasure and has really helped me advance in my scouting ranks. Currently i am a life scout and am working toward my eagle. Without this camp however that wouldn’t have beeen possible. So this is a big thank you to the people who have kept this camp alive and running.

Hello, my name is Sherman I am a 16 year old Life Scout curently enrolled in Troop 48.  Here at camp I plan on completing 6 merit badges at the minimum.  So far I have earned: Backpacking, Cooking, and Hiking merit badges at camp this year. In total I have earned 22 of cheif logans  merit badges.  I also have a merit badge from each area of chief logan including all of the handicraft badges.  I just can’t wait for pizza tuesday and euchre Thursday.

My name is Nicholas and I am working on the communications merit badge. Chief Logan is a fun camp mainly because we can do most anything we want at any time of the day. I have learned a lot at camp over the years, from the names of many wild plants to how to sail a boat. It is a great place to meet new poeple and have fun. It gets freakin hot out at camp so it is always nice to jump in the lake no matter what might be floating in it. This week i plan to finish Communications merit badge and nothing else really because the two merit badges I have left after Communications isn’t offered at camp.

2008 Merit Badge Prerequisites

Hey Camp is just around the corner!!!

For those Scouts wanting to work on Merit Badges at Chief Logan Reservation this Summer it is strongly recommended that you review the “Merit Badge Prerequisites” list. Several merit badges can not be completed if you do not prepare ahead of time. At the very least you should review the requirements before camp. A good site to visit for a list of requirements is the “Merit Badge Resource Center“.
